Tucking in the plants

Where were you last night at 10:30pm? I was in the garden, taking all our extra blankets, sheets and pillowcases tucking in the plants because there was a risk of frost. The icy stuff on my car this morning proved the forecast was right, and I'm really happy I did it, but I hate this early part of gardening! And it's all my fault, I took the cloches off the zucchini on Sunday. I tempted Mother Nature. But I fought back with fleece and flannel and hopefully all my little babies will survive!

So psa, stock up on old blankets and towels, you never know when you'll need them!
